The Youth Council is a sub-committee of the Workforce Investment Board of Tulare County (WIB) that makes recommendations and informs the WIB on youth-related issues. Beyond the practical function of the Youth Council, however, lies the much broader vision of an integrated youth development system responsive to the needs of all youth in Tulare County. It is this vision that drives the Council’s work in connecting youth organizations into a single system providing opportunities for all youth to acquire the skills necessary for successful transition into adulthood, careers and further education and training.
